The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office has approved the merger of Sanford Health and North Memorial Health under a 10-year state oversight agreement designed to ensure continued community healthcare benefits.
As part of the agreement, core services at Robbinsdale Hospital will be maintained, reflecting a commitment to preserve essential healthcare access for local residents.
Additionally, the merged entity will invest $600 million across its facilities, aiming to enhance healthcare infrastructure and service delivery.
The agreement also includes provisions to retain employee protections and uphold community-benefit commitments throughout the duration of the oversight period.
